Extrusion Kneader VIU

AMK Extrusion Kneaders can be equipped with a „powerload control equipment“ specially developed by AMK to reduce batch process times. The system consists of a polechanging motor and an electronic control unit. The powerload control equipment is of advantage whenever large diff erences in product viscosity occur during the kneading process. The control unit guarantees an optimum blades speed subject to the power consumption of the product being processed.

Low power consumption = high speed

Change-over switching from high-speed into low-speed mode or reverse is done automatically. AMK Vacuum Extrusion Kneaders are increasingly used for drying and degassing of highly viscous and very consistent products. Extrusion, as well as rope forming direct from the evacuated trough, enables the production of absolute air-free ropes of a greatest possible density. These are suitable, together with other possibilities, for further processing on ram-type presses. AMK Extrusion Kneaders can be supplied complete with the electrical equipment.

AMK Extrusion Kneaders are used, among other applications, for the manufacture of: silicone rubber, butyl rubber, plastic colour-concentrates, sealing compounds, putties, printing ink, moulding preparations, hot-melt adhesives, pressure sensitive adhesives, rubber solutions, fine soaps, carbon electrodes, oxide ceramics, hard metals, gasket and gland packing products, butter, marzipan, nougat, peppermint doughʻs, liquorice, soup pastes, biscuit doughʻs etc.

LABORATORY EXTRUSION KNEADER

AMK Extrusion Kneaders are available in the sizes of 2.5, 4, and 10 litres working capacity. They are equipped as same as the production machines. In the AMK Laboratory are such machines for customer trials available. These machines have heating, cooling, and vacuum facilities, together with many optional extras.
